A bit like coming home!!

On 30 October we return to the Nashville Country RV Park in Goodlettsville, just out of Nashville! Amazing to think that we stayed here on our first night in the RV ... on 28 July, 3 months ago.

We left Crossville at 10am. It was 3 degrees when we left; it was -1 overnight. Maximum today is to be 8. I'm not sure that Trevor's new toy is such a good idea. Before, we knew it was cold ... now we know just how cold! It is still windy but clear skies. Although it was cold overnight, we were comfortable. We put the heater on this morning. Spoke to Kim on Skype and Todd last night. Mainly wanted to let them know we are fine.

Is that a confederate flag?
We have a 'sit on the edge of your seat' kind of drive, buffeted a bit by wind and the wind that is pushed out by passing trucks. Trevor seems OK with it.
I have put a Starbucks address into the GPS so will busy myself with looking for a place to stay a couple of days in Nashville.
We stayed a night in Nashville on our drive north to South Dakota at the beginning of our travels - yes, our first night in the RV! We said that we would be back. We stayed at the Nashville Country RV Park and recall it was nice. So why not go back?
I ring ahead to reserve a site; I also check out a rental car for a day, with a pickup from the RV park.

Not a good look!

It is 9 degrees at noon!

We refuel on our way. $3.15 a gallon. It is great that gas is coming down. We arrived about mid afternoon.  It is going to be a cold night again.
Watching the devastation on the east coast by Hurricane Sandy.
